You may have heard the term product mock-up or digital mock-up in relation to design, but what is a mock-up?
The answer is quite simple really. It is a digitally-created image of your shelf-ready product. It is sometimes difficult to tell the difference between product photography and a mock-up.
Even though most people have access to a high-quality camera on their phone, getting just the right shot of a product is difficult, and then there is the editing of the photo to make it look the part. Photo editing software is often expensive and isn’t always easy to use right out of the box. This leaves the majority of people who take their own photos of their product with a lackluster version of their product, which can impact sales.
There is always the option to have a professional product photographer. This isn’t a bad option, but it is often expensive and time-consuming. The product has to be sent to them for starters and then it takes time to get the shots and edit them. Another downside is no matter what you do, the photos will have a background that will need to be removed if you want to superimpose that image onto a different background to use on your website, print or for your social media graphics.
Product Mock-ups are the perfect way to represent your product. Your label is used to create a digital version of your product which looks like you spent a lot of money on professional images of your product. Product mock-ups are more cost-effective and you don’t need to send us the product to create one for your product.
We also supply files to you that have your image on a transparent background which is great for creating different visuals with your product.
All we need from you is a picture of your product and your label file. The picture is only used to see what your product looks like so we can create an image that is as close to your product as possible.
Our mock-ups start at £50, but for all of July, we are offering a discount making them just £35 per product. If you have been thinking your images need a bit of a spruce up to make them look more professional, this could be the very thing your business needs to make sure you are putting your best foot forward when it comes to getting your products out there.
